There are many caches in place honoring the Lincoln Highway, but (a) the close proximity of a nearly-4-mile original stretch with brick pavers and (b) the 100th anniversary of the highway's inception made me want to add another.
Map Geek 08: 100 Years of the Lincoln Highway (here for OpenCaching version) features a map from 1919 with the coast-to-coast route and a map I constructed by (1) making pocket queries along the Nebraska portion of the route and (2) opening the KML string in Google Earth and taking a screenshot.
